Disclaimer for 48V operation:

For most conventional battery technologies (e.g. Flooded Lead Acid) and in most Canadian climate zones, the 100Voc limit of the charge controller only allow 2x54cell or 2x60cell (or 2x120cell equivalent) solar panels connected in series. This configuration might not provide sufficient charge voltage for 48Vnominal battery systems to fully charge (or equalize) the battery bank.

Use this 48Vmode only if you have confirmed that for your specific setup the PV DC voltage in high temperature situations is high enough.
